Isles would take that trade, losing the 1st hurts, but the retention and taking Komarov justify it pretty well.

No real reason for Montour on the Leafs. He'd be a taxi squad option, why trade a pick and eat a cap hit for that.

With how Staal has been playing, I am inclined to think he gets a 3rd, but maybe some team gives up a 2nd. Doubt its CAR though, who is super deep at C and who would have E. Staal on the 4th.
I actually made that same Hall proposal a couple days ago. I think NYI would have to add a little something to be honest. Taking on Komarov helps NYI a lot and a late 1st in a weak draft and a prospect who hasnt showed much doesnt get it done I dont think. I would maybe add a 3rd or another prospect if Komarov is involved.
Montour + 4th could get you a 2nd, but I also think hes worth a 3rd.
Other trades could happen, but I feel like those guys wont get you 4ths, maybe 6ths.
