Murray will be seeking a cheap ELC player that's exempt from the expansion draft. The JVR ship has sailed Murray wanted Mantha+1st for Cam Fowler that's what he will be seeking not JVR.

A guy who's passed 30 goals and 60 points once in his career can't be called an elite scorer. On top of that, he's injury prone, UFA at the end of the year and he is gonna ask for about 6 million, which the Ducks don't have. This trade doesn't make sense for Anaheim

I'm a Leaf fan but I don't think JVR is elite. But injury prone? Now you're just making stuff up. Last year he missed half a season with broken foot. (thanks Phanuef for solidifying 30th place). Doesn't really matter what JVR is asking for, it is what some one will pay when he's a UFA. And come 2018 when he''s UFA, each team will have a 1 in 31 chance of signing him. IMO, I don't like the deal for both teams.
