First being able flip a player isn't a selling point it takes away from the value. For Detroit to get fair value in this trade they have to trade a player and hope there is someone is willing to pay the asking price. Now that's just to get to even in a trade they made a season ago. How does that make any sense. Plus if it was that easy to flip him why is he still in Colorado? I'd prefer the Wing's trade Greiss and resign Bernier and with the way they have been playing it might happen. When I said i'm fine keeping Glendening and Bernier I said that because the Wings are better off with them and trading them for Compher and a 4th would make Detroit worse.

I didn't realize he changed the 4th to a 3rd. So throw in another 3rd and you can keep Compher Detroit already has a plethora of bottom 6 forwards.
