Our beat writer, Michael Russo at The Athletic. He has said it a few times on podcasts/radio, but I found the article where he puts it in print

"I don’t get the sense the Wild have interest in Calgary’s Sean Monahan."

I want to say he has made stronger statements since that October article, but I don't have the time to sift through his many podcasts to find it for you and I may be misremembering.

It's unclear whether or not the Wild would be interested in a trade that doesn't involve Dumba. I'd imagine our target would be Lindholm over Monahan, but obviously he'd be hard to pry out of Calgary.

I'd be interested at this price. Problem is we can't make this trade without Dumba being involved due to expansion ramifications. I wouldn't trade Dumba for him personally. Dumba has looked awesome.

Exactly. I also think Monahan could work with Fiala or KK. Of CGY ate the difference between Rask and Monahan, I’d give up the late 1st this year.
