This is kind of childhood logic. Bruins management doesn’t seem to think they need D. They’ve passed on a ton of opportunities to add, and not at this astronomical price.

Then there’s the expansion draft. There is no chance, no how, not even a snowballs chance in hell that the bruins add a d man with term. This deal for the bruins is kuraly (a very valuable part of the bottom six), Lauzon (the guy playing top pair for them), a 1st (back to back years without a top pick), a 3rd, and Grzelcyk (expansion draft) for ekholm. Not a chance.

this looks like a nope for sure - no way Lauzon and the 1st get moved for Ekholm - I mean he is good, but the price doesn't match the value the Bruins would put on him. I mean if we wanted some D that badly they would have upped the offer for Krug or kept Chara and those wouldnt have cost the B's anything.
