Quoting: KakkoForMauriceRichardAward
And this is a pretty big overpay lol we'd decline that.
Look, the reason I asked you this is because while you guys have some good prospects on the wing (namely Kupari and Kaliyev) but you probably lack another one... yet at center you guys have a **** ton of prospects there... Byfield, Turcotte, Madden (I don't consider Vilardi a prospect anymore cause he's a regular)
What I mean is that we both have things the other lacks... you guys lack another W prospect and we lack another center prospect... could a Kravtsov + Henriksson (who's a center) vs Turcotte based swap work? Cause I get not wanting VK for Tucotte 1vs1
I'm not saying that It would be Turcotte for Kakko 1-for1 either. The likely path for Turcotte right now is to move him to LW since Byfield, Vilardi, and Kopitar are going to be the centers for the foreseeable future. The Kings could be convinced to trade Turcotte if there's an upgraded winger option available, but if the choice is to play Turcotte on the wing, or downgrade to Kravstov to play on the wing, the Kings will stick with Turcotte.
Also, Kupari is a center, not a winger. He has played some wing before, but he's a natural center, and is currently playing C in the AHL, where he was leading the league in points before being called up to the taxi squad. The Kings could also move him to wing, but just like in Turcotte's case, that's not ideal.
I would argue that the value gap between Kakko and Turcotte is smaller than the gap between Turcotte and Kravstov.
