This has been the worst Flames team that I can remember.

Even in 2013/2014 they were at least fun to watch. This team is neither fun nor good

I think the expectations were higher than what was reasonable heading into the season, and the Flames are underperforming what would've been a reasonable expectation. Makes for a really bad time.

Yeah I personally wasn’t that high on them. I thought they were at VERY best 3rd in the North, but realistically in the 4-6 range.

They were extremely overhyped and that’s not to take away from Markstrom because without him, they have like 3 wins

I think Gaudreau and Rittich stay. I don’t think it’s about who stays, but what you bring in

I thought the same thing. 3-6 seemed like it would be basically a dogfight.

Bright side, though, I think they could potentially go on a run coming up here. Should come out pissed against the Leafs and maybe get a win or two in that series and then they've got the Senators in 4 straight.

I’m torn lol, I want them to make the playoffs, but unfortunately I know exactly how it will go if they make it. 5 or 6 games and then sent home.

I agree with that. It sucks, but I think that'd be the right call. If they just bite the bullet and do it, they'll be better off imo.
