I feel like we've been arguing this Krejci thing for like a decade. He didn't say that. The door is open.

“I’m not planning on retiring, that’s for sure,” Krejci said. “I want to play after that, how long or what’s going to happen I don’t know. I guess we’ll see what happens after next year. But definitely not planning on going into the next season with it being my last.”

Krejci has a few more years left in him. My guess is he does what Chara did, but doesn't hang on as long. I am guessing one year at a time, but if he plays in Boston next year 1x5 and the Devils offer 2x6 the following, it's hard to turn down 12m.

He previously said that he planned on returning to europe after his contract was up. Then he walked it back and said that he would do one more year in the NHL after his contract before returning to europe to play. Obviously taht opens the door to him walking it back further. He did say it though. It’s entirely possible that his family have now said they want to stay in boston for the rest of their lives and he’ll play as long as the bruins offer him a contract.

I think we can both agree that giving him 4x6 is absolute insanity, as is everything else in this garbage ACGM.
