Defense which exposes the bad goaltending is the main issue. Anything left that the Pens have for trade assets should go to that.

The goaltending is the actual problem. Penguins are currently getting some of worst goaltending in the league adjusted for quality of chances they are facing.

Their defensive lineup is fine once Pettersson comes with Dumoulin and Riikola coming back in a few weeks. This isn't the team's weakness.

Dumoulin-Letang is a good top pairing.

Marino and Petterson are a solid second pairing.

Joseph the rookie has played well. They are fine.

Healthy is the soloution we have about 3 guys on the 3 rd (when healthy) that could fit on other teams 1st or 2nd

i guess if we are counting Vancouver and the other bottom 5 defensive teams then yes. Talking teams with actual defenses then, no.

Yea Pittsburgh is on the bottom for HD save percentage but they are also 10th worst at giving up HD chances per game. I agree the goaltending is bad but the price of goalies will be very high. Defense will be cheaper to fix.

They are also #1 on man games lost this year due to injury. Pens D has played only a couple games together. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that Pens defence has bad numbers when we had games where POJ a rookie and Cody Ceci were our #1 and #2 D

I agree. I think the biggest issue on this team aside from goaltending is upgrading the bottom 6. I like the Tanev/Bluegar/ZAR line but McCann needs to be surrounded with some better players

Let's assume Ducks are "out of it" nearly TDL. Getzalf would approach Ducks if/ and where he would like to traded for a playoff run. Might only be able three teams he would interested in going to.
