Nylander is out for sure
Dach's original timetable was 4 months from surgery...in theory he could come back at the very end of the regular season but Bowman said they are going to be extra careful with him as a long term asset.

Unfortunately I think it would be very similar to the bubble. Likely steal a series maybe two but don’t see that defense corps taking on Tampa, Colorado, Boston, Montreal, etc. I like the depth up front just don’t think the defense is there.

I think both Dach and Nylander were supposed to be out 4-6 months. So they should be back in around mid April. Certainly enough time to get some NHL games in and if were close to the playoffs they could play in the post season.

Dach is 4 to 5 months and Nylander 4 to 6 months. Dach had his surgery one week later then Nylander. Biggest issue is wrist versus knee, knees for hockey players are very hard to rush back to so best to error on the side of caution with Nylander which would make his availability at the earliest May 1st and July 1 more realistic.

Thats my boy though. Want to get him back better than ever.
