I'd also keep Wood next to Hughes for some protection & screens etc ... they both can skate, Hughes can bounce some shots off wood while he's causing trouble in front. Has worked so far. Plus, Johnsson deserves fourth line right now

Can't break up wood/zajac, they play great together. I think sharangovich would fit well with them.

Wood should be as far away as humanly possible from Hughes, at least on 5v5. While Johnsson absolutely deserves 4th line minutes and 4th line linemates right now that's still not a longterm solution -> Get him on the ice with skilled guys and hope he figures a way out of his performance hole.

That is true... Keep those two together for now. Maybe McLeod on right, so Govich / Wood doesn't need to play off wing? McLeod is very sound defensively ... fast, big body. There would certainly be plenty of hits going on.

You're right about 5v5, most of the positive Wood + Hughes plau has been on PP.
