Korshkov isn't coming back this year.

Are the Leafs trying to miss the playoff's? They went from playoff contender's to rebuilder's with this team

The KHL season ends long before the NHL, so I figured he'd come back to the AHL/Taxi Squad when his year (which has gone very well to date) is over.

Sandin's NHL ready, and I've always been impressed with Liljegren's two way play. If they are both ready, then there you go. Frankly, I like this offense. Anderson on L3 is the only one who i think at this moment couldnt handle the responsibility.

Sorry but you are not making the playoffs let alone hope to win a round with this team. Too soft and not built for playoff hockey. No one is scared of Liljegren or Sandin LOL

If you aren't scared of Sandin/Liljegren, you never watched them in the AHL. Even Brian Burke has compared the way Sandin plays to Kronwall for how he hits depsite his size. And Liljegren has developed a great defensive game. You don't need to be scared of them per se, but they are likely better than many other 3rd pairs, and if they get hit a couple times but help get us a goal and the other team doesn't, well then we're bruised but we win. Also, we still have Muzzin, Thornton, Anderson and Hyman for guys who can annoy the opposition, as well as Bogosian and Simmonds in the press box if keefe wants to give the team a more physical look for a game.

It doesn't matter if they are both ready. Both could probably have success if brought into the NHL with a partner like Bogo. Together they are a complete disaster.

Detroit was intelligent enough to bring Kronwall into the NHL playing with 1000 games experience, 35ish year old vet Mathieu Schneider. Not 11 games experience Liljegren.

Doubt it. There isn't enough spots for guys to play as it is, I doubt Korshkov comes back after playing a full season and takes someone else's job.
