I’m not a CBJ fan but Suzuki is a good start, Tatar isn’t a piece I’d want at all so something would have to be swapped in there like a 1st. Not completely sure but the start of the package definitely starts with Suzuki.

I put Tatar because money has to go the other way to make the trade work.

Habs are not trading KK or Suzuki for Dubois.

If Dubois is being traded to the Habs, it’s for Danault and other pieces not names Romanov and Caufield.

Dubois is being heavily overrated at this moment. 61 points is a career high with Panarin and top power play time. He’s good, not a top prospect good. Zibanejad had about the same point production on a much worse team and Ottawa got Brassard as the main piece.

Yeah I figured as much, I just think when a team is trading an asset like PLD they don’t care (rightfully so too) about balancing a trade, it isn’t the NBA where salaries have to be within certain percentages.
