I think the defense is fine. Hamilton is an elite defenseman. Sergachev can be a #2. Pettersson and Andersson as your 3 and 4 is okay.. the 3rd pair sucks

I think if were talking Sergachev in 2 years it's good, but for now he's a below average 2nd D-man at best and that's coming from a Tampa fan. He played on the bottom pairing a lot for Tampa last year

Well of course a 22 year old will play behind Hedman and McDonagh, even a 22 year old Lindstrom would have, 22 year old Paul Coffee would have also, even a 22 year old Bobby Orr, that doesn't mean he's a below average player, it means the team he plays for is STACKED WITH TALLENTED DEFENCEMAN, but that's just my opinion, just another Oilers fan's opinion, nothing important... lol
