Yea, because all of a sudden at Holls age with limited NHL experience he will develop into a better defenceman then a vet with 5 better seasons at the same age. I'll take that bet any day of the week! Barrie was there 3rd best and he is a solid offensive defenceman who will hit record highs in a very very good contract.

I'm just saying that if Holl has the season he had last season, he will be better than Larsson. Larsson is just mediocre by NHL standards. Just because he a RHD and was traded for Hall, doesn't make him good. Doesn't really matter what Barrie does this year, he was awful last year. He certainly wasn't the Leafs third best Dman. But of course for someone who might just look at "points" I will understand how the misinformed stay misinformed.

Barrie, is, a, offensive, defenceman, he, scores, points, that, means, he, plays, his, role, also, wide, know, fact, it, was, the, coach, who, misused, him, once, that, coach, got, fired, he, improved. Some forward are strictly defensive with little offence but they play Rolex do they suck? Barrie's okays his role, PP or which is a huge part of the game. Not sure how that's a knock. Barrie was the best offensive defenceman the Leafs have had in years. Worth way more then what he signed, thank you toxic leaf fans for driving him out of Toronto right into the lap of the best PP into he league last year. Only going to make it that much harder for your leafs to beat the Oilers. Goodluck with that 40 mil locked into 4 players. Future looks bright.

Edit: I forgot to mention, Larsson has had more seasons better then Holls 1, ****, he's had more successful season then Holl has been in the league.
