If we trade Nilsson it will be for a mid-round pick (likely a 3rd or 4th straight up), we already have two NHL goalies without him so we aren't interested in taking on Dubnyk. And we wouldn't have to give up anything either, it would just be a pick for goalie deal.

Fair enough. Only reason Dubnyk is going the other way is because there’s no room for him here if we trade for another goalie. Both of em will be UFAs after this season so there is very little risk factor. I get where you’re coming from though.

Steen is probably done, and it seems Tank will join him on LTIR to start the season. So while we do still need to sign Dunn, that should not be a problem. Or at least one that forces us to pay to give away a key player.
