Now I want to start this by saying I dont think Getz will be moved or even asked to move. and If he does I believe he wont waive.

Now the question should he at least be on the table? Yes he 100% should as a TDL rental if he does want to go for another Cup but I dont think he should be moved before then
    2.
    ANA
This all hinges on Getz for me, if Getz gets moved, or doesnt resign or retires we should 100% keep Henrique no questions asked. Even in a complete rebuild you still need reliable veterans to shelter the young guys and be a mentor.

Having watched Adam from his rookie season in the OHL, you cant ask for a better leader/role model/mentor for a rebuild, the value he brings off the ice is often overlooked and that mixed with his 40-50 pt output every year makes him worth every penny of his contract, and I would not move him at all, as any value we would probably get back wont match what he brings to ANA
      3.
      ANA
This is an interesting one for me. Silf is a valuable veteran presence who much like Henrique I think his value to us is more than what we would get in a trade. but he should be made available 100%, and I would even expose him to SEA potentially if Heinen and Milano both seem like long term fits
        4.
        ANA
Rakell should be in play 100%, but I would only move him for a package with a 1st and a B prospect with another piece in there. He is still young enough to be helpful when we will be good again, and I could see him signing something similar to Kyle Palmeris current contract, or even something around 5x5
          5.
          ANA
Manson should 100% be moved before expansion. I believe he will e the defence we expose and I cant see SEA not taking him if that happens. He should be moved while we can get a return for him without having to do a repeat of the Theodore Fiasco.
            6.
            ANA
Bunching these guys together as they'll all have the same reasoning for me. 4th liners moved by the deadline for mid round picks/prospects

If they wanted to go full self destruct mode than yes these would most likely be the people they would move. The only question I would have is would they try to keep some of these people to still keep their team decent enough?

I agree with all of it except Silfverberg. He’s been the heart, hard worker, and leading scorer for the Ducks these past two years. Not only would it shatter the fans but it would break him to trade him at his best right now. Obviously I don’t think he’ll be part of our future, but right now we should let him enjoy the top

Because hes our #1 Dman, and age-wise fits into our compete window?

Two years left on his deal, two years where the team is certain to not be competitive. Unless they’ve spoken with him and know that he’s signing a long term deal the day he’s eligible, i would think they should at least explore his value.

You're skipping over the fact the GM has said they intend to push for playoffs. Not saying I agree with that but its the reality of the situation. The priority with Lindholm should 100% be a long term extension

In my opinion, the unspoken conclusion of your very accurate analysis is that we shouldn't trade any of the first four veterans you list unless the offer really knocks our socks off. And that's a sentiment with which I wholeheartedly agree.

My only teeny, tiny, OCD-level quibble: I'd put Picks above Prospects. I think our pipeline is adequately full, at least of high-end prospects.

                  Told you it was OCD-level.

So would I, They weren't put in any specific order, just the order I thought of them in ahah. I dont see any of them being moved, GMBM seems set on trying to be a playoff team so that pretty much says they arent moving vets out

Very true. That said, if I’m a player, there’s no way I’m signing an extension right now. Flat cap and uncertainty of revenue and all. Expansion team in a tax free state that’s about to have an insane amount of cap room just up the road.

Hey, maybe he loves it there and they already have an extension worked out, but operating under the information available to the public, i would think this would be a great time to trade lindholm.

I agree if he says he doesnt want to resign to move him, they would be dumb not to. But from what i've read/seen that isnt the case so I'm going with the assumption he isnt against resigning. Seeing what Brodin signed 7 years, 6M I see Lindholm at around 6.5M over 7 or 8 years 7M

Would Henrique be in play if Getzlaf wants to stick around and play another 3+ seasons before retiring as a Duck? I can’t see the Ducks moving him unless it’s a stupid good offer, or a kid needs top 6 C minutes badly

Any interest in Bellows, Hickey, and a 2022 2nd for Danton Heinen?

No. We need RWs, RDs and 2021 picks.

Yes, I think that's the OPs point, and I second it. If Getzlaf stays, see if you can move Henrique at a good price (look at the Kapanen deal!), otherwise, keep Henrique.

Echoing what @OldNYIfan said, If Getz signs lets say a 3 year deal, Henrique is more movable than if he doesnt. I would still keep him as he would eventually (with good development of Steel, Zegras, Lundestrom, etc) fall into his natural 3C/3LW role for us towards the end of his deal
