Those 2 players are helping Toronto out big time!! You’re giving them a 24 year old, 20 goal scorer in Tuch and retaining 1.2M for 6 more years. You are giving them Tuch for 6 years at 3M a year. And another 23 year old RHD, signed to an E-L , 725K contract for 2 more years. I think the value is fair, dermott, Liljegren, kerfoot and the 2nd round pick. But that deal is helping them out with their cap tremendously over the next 2 years, IMO. retaing that money puts the trade in their favor!! Getting Tuch for 3M per for 6 more years.
