That's why i was trading Drouin here, he's still young and have potential but doesn't perform as Tatar and for the same price. Knowing his potential could explode with a great center man like monahan, so him, mete, a first and second, a B proscpect in ikonen makes a fair deal for a guy who will be UFA in 2 years. I seriously doubt that MB will trade A+ prospects for a guy like goudreau but this is my opinion and i might be wrong.

no. if they don't make the playoffs this year, i'd trade him, or i'll let him walk in FA. you have to look 2-3 years ahead at their cap situation as well. romanov, suzuki, and KK could command a lot of money if they continue on their trajectory.
