Davidsson, Peterka, Samuelsson, and Laaksonen will need more than a year to be NHL ready. Davidsson is on a negative trajectory. Risto probably moved at TDL, Montour probably moved this year, which means they hang on to MIller. Girgensons and Eakin trades make no sense and Ruotsalainen is not a 4th liner. They'll still have enough cap to keep Hall and add to the Dahlin or Joker deals if need be.

Gonna have to give (probably a lot) to get Seattle to take Okposo
At least a 1st, possibly more

“Idk yet” doesn’t cut it dude

    And Risto for a 2nd & 3rd is hideous....
Especially with all that Cap Room, there’s no chance at all we go with 2 rookies on the 3rd pair over him & Miller, & McCabe, & possible free agents / trades

Idk if Hall wants to stay long term. Peterka I could see making the team easily in 2021. Davidsson is not being utilized properly by Vaxjo. I wish he was still with Djurgarden with his brother Jonathan Davidsson. They had good chemistry but Vaxjo is setting him up for failure. BUF needs to give him an ELC and play him in Roc.

    A couple things:
    - I'd be very surprised if JJ, Pekar, Davidsson, Quinn, Laaksonen, and UPL are on the NHL roster next season
    - Don't think Montour will stick around with us, I'd be surprised if we traded both Risto AND Miller
    - with all that cap space, woudn't we try to resign Hall?

But no doubt this team has a great future

Its going to cost us assets to get Seattle to take Okposo. Miller and a 2nd for them to select Okposo.

Also what the hell happened to Hall?

I wouldn't be surprised to AT LEAST see Quinn, Peterka, and UPL in the NHL. Hall obviously came here because no one else had the money. Just trying to be realistic there. Montour is better than Miller so If they lock him up Miller Is expendable. Risto I won't mind keeping but I think he'll be gone.

I think Hall is very interested in staying long term. That can change if the team is a dumpster fire, but I predict they wont be. I think Davidsson should be signed and go to the A, but he'll need a year plus. Same with Peterka. Both right now dont have a contract, but best case scenario they get one soon and theyre callups when someone gets hurt in 21-22. I think Okposo will cost a first + Ruotsalainen for Seattle to take him

I know the videos are propaganda but the video that the Sabres released made it seem that Ralph had a huge hand in bringing Hall to Buffalo. I dont think its about money, thats just more anti-Buffalo sentiments from people who dont want to understand why someone would choose to sign in Buffalo

Marcus Davidsson can't spend another minute in Sweden with Vaxjo. It's the Lawrence Pilut situation over there. They need to get him over here asap. Okposo should hang em up, doubt he ever will until his contract ends tho.

I'm just trying to be realistic and modest on the situation. He wanted money and a chance to win. If this was what he wanted to could've been a long term deal. I just think he'll go to a real contender in a year.

Possibly, I meant more as a whole that I'd be surprised if ALL those players made it. Certainly Quinn and UPL have the best odds
