A very average fringe NHLer would garner about 8 5v5 points playing 8.39 TOI/GP over about 55 GP (so ~1.04 p/60).
If you put that player on a league average 1st line for a season (average 1st line QoT, QoC, TOI, GP) what would be their new point total and p/60?
Based on my numbers 29 5v5 pts with a p/60 rate of 1.6 on the top line. So despite the QoC going up, the QoT is way bigger deal and they see a near 60% increase in scoring rate.
