I have no clue about these players? so tell me when does a 20 year old barzal get his first reps at 1 or 2c for the bruins. bruins gave krejci a 6 year 43.5m extension in the 2015 offseason which happened to come with a full nmc. So we draft barzal and then say 2 years later, hey krejc gunna need you to waive that nmc so we can move your contract cuz this kid might be better than you. AT BEST barzal is either a 3c or a 2W for a few years. He 100% isnt playing over bergeron or krejci. Why you would think he would play 1c or 2c over established vets is mindblowing.
Where did I say anything about trading anyone?
Barzal was twice the player Krejci was in 2017-18. He might have broken camp as 3C, but would've moved up quickly.

Chabot is a little different. but that would have meant the bruins would have had to trade krug after HE signed an extension. Im being realistic. Chabot stays in juniors and doesnt see nhl time until after he gets a year in providence. Unless they need to throw someone into the fire (mcavoy/carlo) they try and let them get as much ice time as possible... why give chabot 3ld where he gets maybe 14 minutes a night when you can give him 20+ in providence. Hence why vaak and zboril have been in providence for 2 years and not as 3 LD...
Once again, I said nothing about trading anyone. I don't know why you'd think having better prospects mean you have to trade players, you clearly don't understand how this works. Tampa went out and acquired McDonough (LHD) the year that Sergachev (LHD) established himself behind Hedman (LHD) in the NHL. There's no reason Boston couldn't have run Chara, Krug and Chabot down the left side and sent Grzelcyk back to the AHL.
