Dallas is the most disrespected team in the NHL. Make it to finals with a half injured roster and they still are predicted by people to be lower than Nashville, Minnesota, and St. Louis. Hilarious.
Dallas has no consistency in their game, meaning on paper they are a much better team than what shows up for the game way too often. With the teams like NSN, MN, and STL you know what you're getting game in and game out. Really they could finish anywhere from 1st to last in the Division and it wouldn't really surprise me.

Minnesota added some good players, but they still lack a true number 1 center next year and have 2 backup level goalies, can’t see them much higher then 6th in the central.
To be fair that's an improvement over what they had last year in net.
I don't see a 1C, but if Bjugstad is healthy and can still play they could be running 3 2nd lines and a very good 4th line. If not it'll be 2 2nd lines and 2 4th lines. Way too many unknowns with this team for me to make any type of real prediction other than the d-corps is still one of the best in the league.
The Avs missing the Playoffs would be about the only surprising thing that could happen in the Central for me. It seems that every team besides them have big question marks with their roster. 5p could be all that ends up separating 2nd from 5th when the season is over. 1 team (Avs) will be better than the rest, 1 team will be worse (CHI because I have no clue what they are doing), and the rest will just end up as a clump without much separation; so same as always I guess.
