Giordano's what, 1 year removed from a Norris? McDonagh was a defensive giant on Tampa this year, but I do think it's fairly even between all of the guys mentioned. Rielly and Chabot were the last two players I cut.

Why don't you put Doughty and Burns here then? They've both won a Norris. But no, they're not good anymore. Rielly and Chabot > Gio and McDonagh 11/10 times

Doughty fell off a cliff. Burns is okay, but not really that close to this team. Two players falling off doesn't mean a third did.

My issue with Chabot and Rielly is that neither plays defense, really. Maybe I'd go Theodore if anything.

I mean I think Hamilton is better than anyone you mentioned, and I already have him on the team. Again - I'd consider adding Theodore and one of Rielly and Chabot, but wanting several PP/offensive specialists on a team like this just seems weird to me.
