I'd love to see Laffy being used at center, I think his style of play would fit well at that position (I'm talking about his style of play)

If he can't, then the top 6 could look like this:

Now, with Klefbom, who's a very important part of the Oilers' blueline, being injured, I'm not fully convinced moving Jones would make sense for EDM but IF Broberg can prove that he can play top 6 minutes in the NHL as soon as next season then Jones COULD become available (this comes from an Oiler fan btw)

Yeah if Broberg makes the team by outplaying Jones, has his 9 game cup of coffee and convinces management to stay, then I see something around Jones and picks for Buchnevich as a great idea for overall roster and Entry Draft considerations. But, this takes a lot of hypotheticals, is the caveat. Something to look at 10 games into the season.

I could easily just make the 4th a 2023 3rd and turn the pick into a contidional one that turns into a second. Also, Howden doesn't have crazy value. I don't think we get much more than that. Maybe a 3rd instead of a 5th but that's it

Picks don't matter. These players aren't worth what we're giving up. We don't need picks at the cost of regulars. Just continue to ride them out.
