Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Sign Trouba, Trade Myers and get a solid vet goalie to split time with Helly. Yes we protect Helly in expansion (fleury NMC is nixed for trade) but we will have to make a deal with Vegas for draft picks etc to have them take who we want them to instead of Fleury or, we loose him for nothing but that spares us an Armia, Lowry etc. This team is still missing Little and Stafford who will fill out the roster nicely when they come back off injury and I believe this team can compete for a playoff spot and maybe go deep.

Expansion Protects:
Scheifele, Wheeler, Little, Perrault, Buff, Trouba, Matta, Enstrom Helly (unles Enstrom agrees to waive his NMC as he wouldn't be picked anyways most likely or we can work a deal with vegas)

Problem with getting Fleury who gets exposed in the expansion draft I don't see Hellebuyck being exposed so trading for Fleury makes no sense just to lose him. Trouba has to sign and want to be in Winnipeg and based on whats going on there is a hidden agenda clearly he doesn't want to play in Winnipeg or Canada period. Let him sit...... clearly his head is bigger than the team or the game....another me me me player

Trouba will never sign long term with Winnipeg, Both Dreger and McKenzie said that he will only do a 1 year deal at best.

Nope Vegas will become a hockey team 2 weeks before the draft to be able to make deals. The NHL released this info.
