I think Mikheyev and Dermott get at least 1.5, especially Mikheyev because he is going to arbitration

Lehtonen is making this team out of camp, without a doubt. He's going to be so much better than people think.

not that im an avid Darren Dreger fan or anything, but he seemed to think 1.25-1.5 would be the likely range with a max of that. given the market along with mikhs sample size, decent linemates, and pointless in the playoffs, I could definitely see it being much closer to 1 than people think

I can see Dermott at his QO of $874,125 as he doesn;t have a lot of leverage. Would set him up to make more over the flat cap era, too. Mikheyev coming in around $1.5m/2 years, and Engvall/SAndin starting the year in the minors or possibly even on loan overseas.

I would never consider him a Norris sleeper pick, but I do think it is likely he is playing in the top-4 - perhaps not to start the season, but within a month or two. Either playing with Muzzin or Rielly.

There is also no chance that Bogo is not in the lineup. They got him for a reason. Rielly, Brodie, Muzzin, Lehtonen and Bogo will all be playing. The only real question is where will Lehtonen be playing. If he plays well enough to crack the top-4, playing on his offside, then Holl is probably shipped out. If he is on the bottom pairing then Dermott is either number 7 or traded.

I wouldn't go that far, I just think he could push his way into the top 4 and really help the Leafs defence go from below average to really good.
