With the flat cap, there's value for players with RFA resonnable (under 4M) contracts.

I would 100% make that deal if Im Bergy, but if Vancouver wanted to go that way, they would have done it before the draft to get a prospect one year earlier.

He is worth 3M because has the stats for it and would win it in arbitration. Worst case scenario he only score 15 goals by playing from the periphery. Best case scenario he becomes middle 6 30 goals scorer because off a good chemistry with KK.
