I think this trade clears enough cap space for the Bruins to go after OEL and add one of Hall or Pietrangelo. It gives them a 1st round that they don't have this year, Timmins who can probably fill a bottom pairing role right now and has top 4 potential, Jost who could use a change o scenery and Grubauer who is a solid starter that could platoon with Halak.

Those assets could be part of the trade for OEL as well.
