Im a big fan of Dumba, but as I said in the description-this is too much.
As for needing a Center, I get it-but what I mean is it's too much value, and its not like they will be contending this year, so they could draft a pretty solid Center prospect at 16.....Don't tell me Guerin wouldn't take this deal-It's an overpay.

But as a Habs fan, this is the type of overpay I'd go for to acquire Laine.

I think an overpay is the only way to get Laine. And 100% Guerin takes it. A top flight prospect and another mid 1st? That’s the kind of trade that can turn the tide for a team like the Wild, especially for a player everyone know a they need to move.

There is slim to no chance Dumba returns a center of the caliber he’s talking about. Dumba was always worth a 1st and a prospect. At 16, the Wild will pick one of the 2nd tier centers and with Caufield they get another top flight wing. If they log jam with wing prospects they can try to flip one for a top flight center prospect. This is a phenomenal deal for the Wild.
