I highly doubt that Couturier could be made available. He's so good, and then his contract is so low considering what he is worth now. That will be extremely valuable with the flat cap seasons. No need to trade him.

Hey that’s totally fair - was just curious of his value. I know he’s a phenomenal two way center on a good contract.

The conversation for couturier is Tkachuk plus. He is our most important forward (possibly player) and our time to compete is now. If we are going to be tempted to move him, we need an elite young forward and prospects/picks. There’s no way they could sell it to the fan base without something outrageous coming back.

Flames would never offer that. You don't trade 2/3 of your top line (unless your top line sucks) for 1 player even for Bergeron-lite
