    That's partially true, he's not worth that contract but he's not trash is still a top 4 D, that's why the sweetener is a first round pick and a solid 3/4 line player with some offensive upside

    Trash is such an unsophisticated word to categorize a player. We really need to stop over exaggerating.

    Dekeyser no matter what stats you use, is a decent player capable of playing top 4 minutes. Is he in the echelon of top 4 dmen? Not really but is he trash? That's just going overboard. He is not.

    You said only McDonaugh was better than DeKeyser. According to the HeroCharts, Boyle and Klein are, arguably, better than DeKeyser. Boyle drives possession, generates shots, and diminishes shots against much better than DeKeyser. Klein has better production.

    I didn't say that, at all. In fact, I would say that Mcdonaugh and Klein are better than Deke, but that's it on the Rangers roster.
