Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

In part 1 we build a solid team. Now we want to improve that roster. Therefor we have to make some trades because we have no cap space to sign free agents.

1) Detroit: I want them to take Ghost. Because of his latest performance his value is questionable. So i'll send them Rubtsov, a former 1st round pick who is NHL-ready in a bottom-6 role and has an upside to become a middle-six forward. Picks to balance it.

2) Islanders: They need cap space. After the Ghost trade we have it. I want Mayfield to solidify the 3rd pair. To get him we take on Clutterbucks contract. In return Islanders get the rights to Patrick whose value is questionable because of injury concerns and the rights to Noel.

3) Devils: Because we have no use for Clutterbuck we send him to the Devils. He'll give their bottom 6 some grit and leadership. Due to his bad contract we send O'Brien (former 1st round pick with questionable upside) and a 2nd round pick.

4) Senators: We send them Niskanen to open up mor cap space. He can still play on their 1st pair and supports the further development of Chabot (as u could see in 19/20 with Provorov).

So after we made some quite reasonable trades (maybe some have to be balanced with other/more picks/prospects) we have 8.5mio cap space ... and the deep hole at RD ... feel free to guess what's coming next in part 3 ;)
