No offense, but I think it's a terrible idea. I love Malkin, but he's 34, often injured, and will likely play in the KHL when his contract is up. Zero reason for us to give up future assets that we need for a 2 year rental essentially. Maybe a team closer to contending would do it, but the Wild absolutely shouldn't.

If I'm Guerin I'm hot after Monahan or Cirelli this offseason. I'd also call about Thomas, Glass, or Necas, but I don't think any of those three guys will be moved.
