You're targeting a wrong goalie there if you aren't willing to pay, buddy.

Fair enough, but the sharks have inquired from multiple sources. The deal might be better than this, but it wont be a first in this goalie market.

What kind of deal would you be looking for? Like a 16 overall? Chmelevski is no nothing prospect, hes one of my favorites.

Because SJ doesn’t have a lot, he would be deep in MTL charts

Dobber prospects rankings would put him at your 2nd best forward prospect.

Gotta disagree there. Kuemper's probably the best G on the market. Someone will absolutely pay up a first to get him.

It would need to start with Merkley but Bergevin isn’t a fan of him due to is attitude, we aren’t a really good trade partners tbh

I mean hes pretty good, but I give Lehner the edge any day (although he might not go to market anyways) .

Yeah thats a crazy ask. Giving up an elite prospect for a rental 2/3c wont go for any team.

Most of those aren't forwards... and Chmelevski is most definitely a better prospect than Poehling, Ylonen, etc.

Not at all, I’d take Poehling ( comparable Danault ) Ylönen ( comparable Kapanen ) any day before Chmelevski

Poehling is a 1st round pick and Ylönen an early 2nd round pick, they have top 6 potential

You have a 6th round pick who had a nice development and for sure would had been picked earlier, but he’s not an A prospect

where they were picked 3 years ago doesn't mean anything... If you only base talent on where they were picked 3 years ago, you aren't going to be very good at evaluating anyone.
Ylonen, Poehling, and Chmelevski all are not close to being A prospects...

1 player has excelled and improved at every level, juniors, WJC, pro. Is a two-way faceoff center.

another player has had 1 good year in his last season of Juniors... Not to mention he is only 5'10 (5'11 depending on where you look), and only 168lbs, so clearly not in good enough shape to play pro.

Didn’t saw Alexander did participate at the WJC-20 and had a good tournament. Ok I agree Chmelevski > Hillis, but he’s not ahead of Poehling or Ylönen for now. Anyway Danault vs Chmelevski and a late late 1st is the worth it for MTL
