first the rangers wouldn't give up a young center they want to be in the top 6 to get another young center who isnt yet a top 6, miller is gonna be in the ahl to start the year and also if they trade for cirelli and have his RFA rights, why would they pay him 6.5?

Wouldn't the Rangers be a lot better off, just resigning Strome and then they can keep Chytil and Lundkvist and the pick? Then keep DeAngelo even if means trading Buchnevist. LTIRer Lundqvist seems like it will be an unfulfilled dream . Next year make some moves, when more cap will be available with Lundqvist, Staal and Smith gone.

I'd prefer to keep Lundkvist for sure but I'm not really that high on Chytil ever being more than a fringe 3C. The rest (Strome, ADA, and Buchnevich) are not worth whatever their next contracts end up being.
