I don't even know where to begin with that Pittsburgh trade. It's beyond horrendous. McCann MIGHT be enough of an incentive for Bjugstad's cap hit, but that's it. It's not as if Carter or his cap is a problem for the Kings at the moment. As a matter of fact, his experience and point production still warrant a spot on the Kings (or any team's) third line. So it's not a swap of bad contracts. Add into the fact that this is a terrible way to spend a 2nd round pick and the whole trade is a non-starter.

Sure the Kings do the Edmonton trade, but why do the Oilers?

Edmonton won't trade us Nurse for that.
