It's just you. He's probably being held back by a defense-first system, but he's capable of being an elite center in the NHL, he arguably already is

Barzal has been LIGHTS OUT in this years playoffs. Just ridiculously talented. I would be floored if the Isles let him go, but I do think that teams will try to offer sheet him to a massive cap-hit that the Isles just couldn't afford. Definitely not overrated.

Why do you think he’s overrated

I just think that he has speed but he does not shoot very well. He always seems lost in important games durning the season. When a team is paying a guy about 10m per year he should do everything. Its just my opinion.
