Copp is a downgrade on Danault for starter so they would add, probably that 2021 1st protected (but we don't need that, stop with the picks we have a decent core already we need to add to it). But let's say it's even you are left with Domi Fleury and a 2nd for Heinola. This is terrible.

It's funny that everyone complains that everyone else is homers and overvalue their own team players and undervalue other teams players and this time I tried to be very fair to both sides. Explain how this is horrible for MTL ? You lose a really good defensive center in Danault, but literally everyone I've seen on here value Domi as basically a 2nd round pick. I thought getting a good 3rd line center and a very good defense prospect and a conditional first for Danault and Domi and Fleury was worth it.

Actually that type of package should have got you a REAL TOP 6 FORWARD like Connor or Ehlers... not a downgrade Center + another 1st... and another LD Prospect... we have to stop with long term fixed and think of NOW... let spend Molson money.. it's FREE= Domi, Danault, Fleury, 2nd for ... Actually this package would get you Laine!

This trade solves Winnipeg's issue, you get your two middle six center (One offensive and one two-way) along with a close to NHL ready prospect at RD (Which is more valuable than LD) and a pick. What does this fix for Montreal? They get an under performing 3C with a good LD I agree but we've drafted 7 of them in the past 2 years plus signed Chiarot so I think the cup's full along with a protected 1 year away mid first rounder..... WHAT DOES THIS FIX.

PS: Oh and obviously Montreal gives you a 2020 pick while receiving a 2021, cause you know Montreal only wants to be competitive in 2032.
