Isles aren't trading their franchise center for a guy half of Nashville wants to run out of town and a flopping prospect. We can just bridge Barzal at a lesser AAV than $8m if necessary

Ya, it’s some term to deal with. But a first rounder helps the rebuild. Plus he’s better off producing at a 4M pace than a 6M pace. 2C option maybe

Not saying I love the idea, but having Turris at 4M is a lot easier to swallow than at 6M.

Why would Dallas trade for a guy that’s threatening to leave for the KHL? Especially for a guy that, even before last night, had middle-6 potential with Dallas.
