I'm pretty sure I posted some kind of Nurse/Drouin swap with some other pieces and most Oilers fans **** all over the idea.. Lol

But my thinking was the Oilers defense wasn't that bad and they have a pretty solid stock of D prospects so it's the only real way to add a top 6 winger, if they could somehow turn Nurse with maybe a bit more for Drouin and Lehkonen that'd be solid for the Oilers.

I love the idea of nurse for Drouin + 2nd.
To move nurse would think getting a replacement second would be significant in the process.
Drouin would be my top target because i do think he has a massive amount of raw skill which is perfect for Leon and yam. Drouin could replace from a production stand point what nuge brought to that line allowing nuge to be shifted to mcdavids wing full time. I’m not suggesting mcdavid is a bad defensive player but nuges defensive responsibility will be better utilized on that line and skill level and chemistry already exists between them. Since I expect holland will also be looking for a different RW next to mcdavid keeping chemistry rolling over is important big reason why looking to keep nuge mcdavid together and Leon yam together. To me nobody fits the spot like Drouin fact his contract is nearly identical in numbers just makes it too simple. Nurse with Weber play styles I can’t see not meshing instantly becomes a very mobile super strong top pairing. I don’t think there would be a clear winner both teams will strike gold
