To be honest I love tex and bjorkstrand, there my favorite players on the jackets. But they are not untouchable. The only untouchables are pld Jones and z. Everything else is probably an overpayment requirement.
And is Jenner on the block (rumor?) or is he frustrating to you as well. Love him in the d zone but he just kills offensive zone time and plays. ESP when playing with our skilll guys.

Bjorkstrand was Columbus best forward. He’s untouchable. Texier is looking better and better every game. He could be another 2nd line center possibility, again untouchable. The other top prospects, Peeke and Foudy are self explanatory.

Jenner is just not what he need to be as a defensive center. He struggle vs Tampa imo.

I agree he was the best forward on the team. The offense ranked 30th out of 31 teams in goal scoring. Albeit we had all the injuries but still does not make him untradeable. All the players after the ones I mentioned like foudy and Gavrikov are great pieces but if I get a stupid good offer I’m going to take it. Making them tradable but require high overpayment.

Maybe we just have different definitions of untradeable. I see it as under no circumstances are we trading these players unless it’s for like a top 5 player in the league.
But to each their own.

Just as a side note. How good do you think foudy will get and if we offered him With a few smaller pieces to the flames for mono do you take it?

Agree to disagree on the Bjorkstrand and Texier thing. I can see Bjorkstrand as a 30-40 goal guy in the future and Texier is a great passer to put with him.

I wouldn’t trade for Monahan. Hes going to cost way too much to be a 2nd line center. Foudy with the right wings could develop into a 2nd line center, I saw some really good things in the playoffs and some not so good things., overall of Foudy is with players like Atkinson and Folingo or nyquist, they could help him grow into that 2nd line center.

Thanks for your thoughts. I completely agree with you on tex and bjorkstrand. I love both of their games and think they can be stars in their own way. Just don’t view them as completely untradeable
