McCann trade makes no sense since he was pretty good for most of last year and the team wants to give him a chance to focus on one position this year.

Those goalies really make me cringe. What are you gonna do about them? None of Korenar, Melnichuk, Émond, or Shortridge is projected as a starter. Maybe trade up for Askarov?

Should go for more than that. He had butter underlying numbers than Kapanen this year and basically produced points/goals at the same rate. Same age/draft class.

Maybe put a trade for burns or karlson to Toronto for nylander

If Jones doesn’t rebound this year, I expect the Sharks to get a new youngish starter next summer. Some teams will be looking to move a goalie they can’t protect from Seattle and we will have a spot available.

It’s definitely not. Perron was an all star this year. He’s also scoring .86 points a game over the last 3 years which equates to 70 points. Perron goes for Labanc+ from SJ

I would agree (and like) the idea of Lebanc being a starter. Perron is a very good sniper on a fantastic contract. I was thinking the Blues counter with Perron for Alex True, Nick Meloche and a 1st to start the conversation, but Lebanc is a good start too.

Moving Labanc for Perron will not happen. The 1st is plenty good value for Perron.

They should, he’s a good player bit if they dont, this is fair value for him and I am sure pens fans would like it, minus you.

Fair value? Maybe. But it makes the team worse in a time when they shouldn't be doing anything like that. Only reason to trade him would be to bring in a true 3C or a good RD for the third pairing.

Perron is great but on the list of things sharks need... vets aren’t one of them. Sharks need to get younger and rebuild not add another player on the wrong side of 30
