I feel like weager gets a Million+ more than that. Also putting a lot of stock into some older players like Thornton and Perry, good for 4tth line but not for 3rd line imo.

Issues

1. Ottawa has no need for Johnsson and Rodrigues. Sharks will give a 3rd and a 5th for Johnsson. Rodrigues wont get an offer and is gone
2. No need for Thorton, slow as can be. Robertson will be struggling with him
3. I feel a deal could be worked out for weegar but we could do (Weegar+Wallmark) for (Kerfoot+Dermott). Also Weegar is gonna make between 3-4 mill so thats to low

To me I just put them there as good veterans for Robertson to adjust. Thornton can still pass well, and Perry is there because he never gives up. Always goes and does the dirty work. They can teach Robertson how to do the little things. You’re probably right though, having 2 elder guys on the same line is probably not a recipe for success. I really don’t want Robertson to turn into Nylander. All offence, no grit. Appreciate the input.

I can't see Florida going for that one. They're looking to dump salary, and in this trade they double their cap hit (Dermott's going to need a raise).

Unless GMJR is interested in picking up Johnsson too, I can't see AJ returning that much of a haul. If he is, then you should increase the asking price to Pittsburgh's 2022 1st and Sam Poulin.

Washington seems like a better fit than LA for Engvall. He could replace Leipsic on the roster for not very much money.
