That’s a bit much but it’s a fair ask(but Girard is an automatic no go)but neither team is trading either of those guys because both of their contracts are so team friendly.

Could be, but with Byram and Timmins in the pipe, it may be easier to swallow, especially capwise. This is also coming from a place where Calgary isn't likely shopping Lindholm and would need a good offer to part with him.

For me, I just think Sakic remembers literally rolling out guys like Weircoch, Gelinas, Tutin, Beauchamp and he wants to see what he has built with a top 4 of Makar, Byram, Girard and Timmins. But I totally get where you are coming from.
