Buffalo says no. They won’t move the 8th overall for someone who is 2 years away from Free Agency. If he had 5-6 years left maybe it could be discussed.

If the 8OA and a prospect can get Tkachuk Buffalo would trade that package for him who is a way better and younger player

I really like Teuvo but if we trade the 8OA it needs to be second line centre. If you add a guy like Fleury it might worth it for buffalo since it would fill two of our needs. Maybe Teuvo and Fleury for the 8OA and a 3rd pick/ B-Prospect

It's really hard to put a value on him...I can see a trade for another struggling prospect like Pujuljarvi or for a more proven prospect with a lesser ceiling like the Nylander vs Jokiharju trade. His value is probably near a late first round pick or an early second but I can't see Buffalo moving him for a pick
