I know Eeli hasn't been able to crack Nashville yet, but he still has a higher upside than Lias. I like this as a starting point, but the Rangers add here.

I would have to say no to the Edmonton trade. Only because Turris has one more year than Neal. I would love to see a Benning for Jarnkrok trade. Benning can be Nashville’s third pair right handed defence man, and Jarnkrok could be Edmonton’s 3c. I think it’s good for both teams. Benning has a good plus minus, and is isn’t bad at defence. Besides Nashville has a lot of centers. Duchene, Johansen, Bonino, Sissons, Jarnkrok, and Turris. Oh ya I almost forgot, Nashville is my second favourite team so I’m not being biased, and they would both be making the same amount of money.

Couple things... one, plus minus is not a very useful stat in gauging an individual’s value. Two, I would say Nashville has a lot of players that CAN play center but they are often in the line up as wings because they are not as good at center. I personally think the only way Turris leave Nashville is with a pick attached to him or 50% retained to a BUF or OTT (teams with cap space).

But I do want to say you made some good points and I appreciate you analysis.
