I don't like dealing with other teams extensions. But that deal happens without one, its up to your GM to sign him. Tatar at $2.4M as a rental is still worth an upgrade from 2nd to 1st round pick and a risk in Puljujarvi.

yeah.... maybe you should take a look at your team. I could have done the usual thing and just price Sergachev out of your range (and argue he would sign the OS), I decided to go the more realistic route. Killorn is better, and $3M more expensive in this scenario...

Truth here is that 30 GMs are fully aware that you guys are against the cap and won't give you any cap space for free.
Oh and having 8 of your 10 highest paid players' on an NTC's the dumbest situation a team could've put itself in. Usually you need to be two to tango but looks like there's a three-way on the dance floor this summer, it's a stupid way to see the situation but it's the best I could find. Finding a trade partner's already hard and now they'll have to go through all their NTC/NMC to see who can go where, that'll be a mess and I'm already convinced the team asked team lists many of their guys otherwise they're just bracing for impact when an OS comes through.
