Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Not at all sure about the toronto trade, but piggy backing on someone else's calgary trade. mostly trying to set the rangers up for 2021 defense (miller/Lundkvist) and improve the bottom six and defense because of lafrenniere while keeping the cap and expansion draft in mind. I think strome ends up in Nashville it just makes too much sense with that GM

I would rather have Bennett than Kerfoot at this point so this boils down to Hanifin for ADA again.

This is fun, but the Flames are likely losing Hamonic and Brodie, so I don't see them moving Hanifin even with Tony D coming back. I also suspect King Henrik retires and there won't be a need to move Georgiev.

A forward who has a great offensive season before signing a large contract and regressing seems exactly like the type player Nashville acquires. Just kidding, but kind of not.

So would I, but they are relatively comparable. T'DA being able to be the pp guy is what made me think the value is fair. I dont know what toronto is going to do, but they have to get a better goalie and make some cap space, which is why i thought of Kerfoot, because he's a middle six guy.

Toronto's issue is not goaltending. It is definitely defense. Its hard to say ADA is w9rth trading for with Barrie, Gus, and Vatanen all free agents this offseason.

I highly doubt the Rangers would buy out Smith to save 1m in cap space when his contract is up at the end of the year
