What’s the price for Domi? He’s not worth a first. But he’s probably worth a little more than a 2nd and 3rd.

If either team accepts these deals you do it and run before they realize what they’ve done. I would be shocked if Kevyn Adams could pull off either one of these.

Wtf is not worth a first, you can not like him or criticize his inconstency but a 50pts 2C/top 6LW is easily worth a first and more. It's understandable if BUF doesn't want to give up the 8th OVR for him but based on past trades and actual value of Domi, the offer is a joke.

My point was both trades are huge wins for Buffalo, so if either team agrees to them Kevyn Adams would be called a hero. How is your reading comprehension?

I never saw your second comment, I replied about the one where you said he's not worth a first. My reading comprehension is just fine.

You quoted my only comment in your first comment, genius. Maybe you meant to respond to the other guy, but you responded to me. I never said he wasn’t worth a first round pick. Domi may be worth a late first round pick, but not the eighth overall.

Damn sorry buddy I just saw the mistake! I think he's worth more than a late first tho, 10 to 20 max with maybe a little something extra.

Similar players have been traded for picks in the 20s. Buffalo’s second round pick is rather high, how about we add Lawrence Pilut.

Personnally, I wouldn't trade him and if they do it, they should search for another NHL player his caliber. A real winger or a defenseman. After the first round and even after the top10, chances are pretty slim you pick someone who can have a decent impact in the NHL and if you do, it may take 2 to 4 years before it happen. The Habs prospect pool is already one of the best and we have 14picks this year. Enough with the retool it's time to add to an already ok young core.

And for the comparison, even if I value Reinhart more, they are pretty close in my mind. Domi is 25, can play wing or center with a career 0.66 PPG while Reinhart is 24 can also play both position with a 0.63PPG. Reinhart is better defensively but Domi as an higher offensive potential.

Would you accept an early 2nd a 3rd and Brett Kulak for him? Or even an early and a late 2nd and Kulak? I don't think you do.

If he were worth that much there wouldn’t be people looking to trade him. They are very few people thinking Reinhart gets traded this summer. Domi’s potential is what Reinhart is doing now. The eighth overall pick would be an overpayment, I think we’re in agreement there. What would you add to the deal to make it fair if it was for the Sabres first rounder this year? Keep in mind they don’t need any young defenseman.

MTL fans makes Domi trade because we are the most impatiant fanbans in the world. I don't think MB is trying to trade him but that we don't know. Domi's potential is also more than what Reinhart actually is. He already have better offensive numbers without a Jack Eichel. Anyway, that said for you're question if really Domi vs 8th overall is the idea, I would add MTL 2nd (39th) and a decent prospect who fits your needs (Ylonen, Poehling maybe, Olofsson or Hillis) anything more is not worth it in my eyes.
